OESJ Elementary Summer School Begins
Summer school for all students who are entering first grade through fifth grade is beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, July 9th at DH Robbins Elementary School. If your child is riding a bus to to summer school, please be prepared for your child to board the bus earlier than they do during the school year. The earliest pick up time is 7:00 a.m., so if all students are ready to board the bus at 7, everyone will be assured of getting to summer school on time. Pick up times will vary because four buses will be picking up all summer school students across the district.
Students will arrive at school by 8:00 a.m. and will be dismissed between 10:45 and 11:00. Students who are riding the bus home could arrive home as late as 12:00 noon.
After buses leave, children who are walkers will be dismissed. Then adults who come to school to pick up a child or children will be let into the building to sign their child or children out. This is the same procedure that we use during the school year.
If you have any questions, please call school at 518-568-7023
